Hi! I’m Maaike. I’m so glad you’re here.

Let me tell you a bit about my journey, my motivation, and why I feel so connected to this work.

My own journey to Sound Healing unfolded slowly, with plenty of bumps along the way. Over time, I discovered something that brings together my creativity, intuition, and a deeper connection to myself and the world around me.

Personal, pure, right and meant to be

That is what Sound Healing feels like to me. It’s also why the name Apollon came instantly to me. Apollo is a powerful figure in Sound Healing. But more importantly: it is also the name of my son (in French: Apollon).

I love being part of other people’s journeys. At the same time, I know this work is bigger than just you or me. It is about tuning into something greater. Energies of alignment, compassion, and peace, both within ourselves and in the world around us.

Creating, details and intention

I sing and I play multiple instruments I once had a band (pop/jazz), wrote my own songs and I studied classical singing at the conservatory in Amsterdam. I love to create. Not only music, but in all kinds of artistic ways. Pottery, interior design, painting... I also love to observe, listen and appreciate. I’m drawn to aesthetics, art & music in all it’s forms. What I always look for, is high quality, craftsmanship, details and intention in everything that I do and all that surrounds myself and others.

Part of many worlds; a holistic view

I have a Legal background, working in the corporate world for almost all of my career, but I have always carved my own path. Being different was not always easy. I felt conflicted, scattered and unsure. But over time, I began blending all of who I am and my experiences to support growth and transformation, for myself and for others.

I believe in a holistic approach. One that brings together experience, intuition, and creativity. That opens up space for healing, insight, and connection.
